As always at our meeting, the talks and posters will be chosen from the submitted abstracts in the week following the abstract deadline of March 15, 2010. This means that the scientific program will always be very current and reflect the most recent research results in our area.
If you are new to our meeting, but would like to know more about the themes and talks at our meeting, then please check out the scientific program from our last conference.
Abstract submission is closed.
For questions, e-mail Urs Hafeli.
Abstracts can be a full page and must be submitted online. The abstract should contain figures, graphs, or pictures, but the file size is limited to 2 MB. We suggest the following format:
The following two sample abstracts will give you an idea what it could look like. Just click on them to look at the details. And please, include a figure, table, or graph! Once you prepared your abstract, click on the button below and submit it. At that time, you can choose if it should be a poster, talk, or either.
Talks
All talks are 15 minutes long, including 2-3 minutes of
questions. Please practice your talk to be within these time limits! Invited presentations have a total of 40 minutes available.
PowerPoint
PowerPoint is the preferred format for talks. No computer hook up is
possible - please just drop off your PowerPoint file at the
registration desk. Computers, LCD projectors, a single screen and a
pointer will be provided. No slide projectors or overhead projectors
can be used!
Bring your PowerPoint file on a CD or USB portable drive and do not compress your files. PDF files are also possible. We will be able to project any PowerPoint version, but it would be best if you save in PC format.
Please hand in your files at the time of registration or early on the day of presentation.
