Abstracts
This year, we expect about 400 participants in the field of magnetic microspheres, magnetic nanospheres, ferrofluids, and other magnetic particles and magnetic nanoparticles, and their application in such diverse fields as magnetic targeting (drugs and radiopharmaceuticals), MRI imaging, diagnostics, immunoassays, molecular biology, RNA- and DNA purification, cell separation and purification, cell adhesion research, and hyperthermia. Our participants are a very diverse group from academia, industry and medicine. They include chemists, physicists, (biomedical) engineers, pharmaceutical technologists, medical doctors, biologists, and company representatives.
Although our meeting is very focused, we share experiences from many different scientific, medical and technical fields. Our meeting on purpose runs only one session at a time, and all meals and side trips are included in the registration fee. This allows everybody to meet the relevant players in the field and get all his or her questions answered and discussed, both during the day and during the evening activities. We also value the session breaks, thus allowing everybody to interact with the exhibitors and view the posters.
Exhibits (tables or your own booths) will be up during the entire meeting. In addition, we will place a sponsor's or exhibitor's logo here on our website. The one for Micromod, this year's sponsor of the boat trip, is shown as an example. You can see more sponsors here.
