Fundamentals and Applications of High Gradient Magnetic Separation (HGMS)
This lecture series covers a topic relevant to magnetic targeting and the use of magnetic microspheres and was presented by Professor Jim Watson in three half-hour lectures to the participants of the 5th International Conference on the Scientific and Clinical Applications of Magnetic Carriers in Lyon, France. Professor Jim Watson at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Southampton, England, is an authority in the field of high gradient magnetic separation. Dr. Watson has published over 200 papers, has 24 patents and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Physics since 1967.
